" Project Scans"  The Weather Editing and Relay Center, Tinker AFB, OK ~ 1955

Purpose: To develop a system to maximize free circuit time for unscheduled traffic on the CONUS weather communications circuits. This would provide each circuit with an opportunity to clear unscheduled traffic during free circuit time and allow KTIK and other relay points to clear backlogged traffic.
