The
6th Weather Squadron Alumni Association 2011 Reunion was held at the recently

and chatted in the open atrium and were greeted by a number of local members of
the reunion committee.
There was Thursday's Tinker AFB tour
attend by a number of members and new faces in the association. They visited the plane display, the
BX food court, and the site of the former and famous to 6th Weather Squadron
personnel South-40 area. Friday , a much larger group visited and toured the
National Severe Storms Laboratory in Norman. We stopped for a another great lunch
at the Western Sizzler and enjoyed the buffet and steaks to order.
Saturday's agenda included the
Ad Hoc Committee Meeting, the General Membership Meeting and the Reunion Banquet
where a delicious hot buffet dinner was served followed by drawings for the
cross stitch 6th Weather emblem and the member signed homemade quilt furnished
by Shirley Eldringhoff . Award presentations were made by our Chairman
Chuck Miller. Special guests who traveled all the way from Australia were Ernie
Edwards and his son Errol. Ernie and his wife Hilde were made the first Honorary
Members of 6WSAA.
Many members met one final time
Sunday morning for breakfast before returning to their homes and said
their goodbyes until the reunion in 2013. A big thanks again this year to Chuck
Miller and the reunion committee for their time and effort to male this another
enjoyable reunion.
