2005 Reunion Pics
The 6th Weather Squadron Alumni Association held its 2005 Reunion in June at the Holiday Inn Airport in Oklahoma City. In attendance were approximately 76 members, spouses and friends. All were sharing stories, photos, artifacts and reconnecting with friends long separated by distance and time. Thursday everyone arrived and gathered at the hotel's atrium, signed in, received their 6th Weather pins, nametags and activity schedule. Friday we set out to Norman to visit the National Severe Storms Laboratory followed by lunch and a tour of Tinker AFB, followed by a night of reminiscing. Saturday started with a General Membership Meeting, then some set out on their own to visit local landmarks, Midwest City, Oklahoma City Memorial, etc. The evening schedule included a delicious banquet and entertainment by our own Jerry Hunt and the Flying High Band. Sunday was the wrap up, pack up, a great brunch, goodbyes and return to our homes, whether flying out, driving long distances or for some just a few miles.
